*LIQUID TOILET WASH PRODUCTION*
Liquid Toilet Wash is a substance used in our home to scrub our Toilet white ceramics (WC) and tile which makes it look neat and spark. It is produced from a common chemicals and ingredients. Liquid Toilet wash play a vital role in our home, because it help to prevent germs and fungi which grow in our toilet as a result of water accumulation in our white ceramics (WC). Which if not properly treated can cause toilet diseases and other related diseases.
*Equipment used in Liquid Toilet Wash production*
The followings are equipment that will be needed when one wish to produce Liquid Toilet Wash.
Bowl
Mixer
Measuring cylinder
Weighing balance
White filter cloth

Chemicals Quantity
Texapon 1kg
Hydrofluoric Acid (HF)/Hydrochloric (HCI) 1litre
Soda Ash 1kg
Caustic soda 1kg
Formalin 100ml
SLS 1/2kg
NitrosoL /Antisol 1/2kg
Sulphurnic acid 4litre
Perfume 200ml
Colourant to taste
Water 45litres
Total 50litres
Note:
1. A good liquid detergent can be used to replace Sulphurnic Acid.
2. Hydrochloric Acid is a germ killer and stain remover.
3. Nitrosol/ Antisol is a thickener.
4. Use only water soluble colourants
5. Texapon and SLS are a foaming agent and emulsifier to help the ingredients to mix well.
*Production Process for Liquid Toilet Wash*
Step 1: Measure out the ingredients in separate containers.
Step 2: Dissolve the required quantity of soda ash with little
Water and label it A.
Step 3: Dissolve the required. quantity of caustic soda with little water and label it B.
Step 4: Measure out 40litres of water in a separate container, then add the Antisol/ Nitrosol into the water and stir well and label it C.
Step 5: Add A and B to C and stir well, then label it D.
Step 6: Add Texapon, SLS and Sulphurnic acid to sample D and mix slowly to avoid excessive foaming.
Step 7: Add the Hydrochloric acid/ Hydrofluoric acid to step 6 above
Step 8: Finally add Formalin and mix well (for about 5 minutes)
Step 9: Add the perfume and mix till it’s well blended (if not well blended add ¼litre Sulphurnic acid to blend well).
Step 10: Add the required quantity of water soluble colourant to step 9 above and stir for about 3-l0 minutes.
Step 11: Allow the entire mixture to stay for l2 hours for complete reaction.
Step 12: Pack the product as needed in the market.
Caution: care must be taken when adding Hydrofluoric or Hydrochloric acid, because the two chemicals are highly corrosive to the skin, and are very reactive to any product that contains either caustic soda or soda ash.
